Dear Editor, In the recently published article by McLatchie et al., authors state that emergency clinicians may miss acute aortic syndrome (AAS) not considering it as a possibility, being falsely reassured atypical or resolved symptoms, mistaking for other more common conditions.1 The emphasise importance of always AAS in differential diagnosis chest, back abdominal pains, collapse, perfusion deficits neurological compromise and suggest risk stratification scoring system such ADD-RS combination with D-dimer to standardise approach help physicians discern which patients scan.
